The Wakeman Huia is made from beautiful White Ash MDF décor board that gives it an exquisite timber grain appearance at a more affordable price than solid timber.  Finished with a matte black painted trim and a raised lid, the Wakeman Huia is elegant and classic, yet unique and a little more modern.

In Māori culture, the Huia bird holds a sacred place, symbolising mana and chiefly status. Though the Huia has been lost to time, its spirit lives on in our Huia casket.
